Peony

“This image takes me to a better place each time I see it. Slightly dead peony struggling to be alive and beautiful; modern times can be warped, sometimes cruel. We are living in an uncertain time zone and we never really know what tomorrow brings when it comes, but we can always try for the unexpected journey and the ride may be surprisingly pleasant despite some difficulties along the way… It may all work out to be worth it, Time, speed, beauty, colours, tears, love, sex, layers of life unfold itself each day that we never quite know… Everything is about a memory within. Like a giant flower with its protective petals.”
